About me

My name is Monika Ivaškaitė. I'm an artist based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Since my childhood, I’ve been interested in all kinds of creative activities. When I enrolled into art academy, my main focus was on painting. But I do like to reflect the reality by other mediums too: writing, sewing or photographing.

I think my art distinguishes itself for its “naive”, child-like manner of painting and drawing. And it’s a funny thing to me, cause I do like to talk about childhood related themes and “infantilism”.
